Tribute from
Terry Kusi
First, I’d like to thank Mr. Adjei’s Family, his friends, and all well-wishers who have all gathered here today to help say goodbye to our friend, and our dad. Mr. President as most of us called him will be missed dearly. Mr. Kofi Adjei mentored me during his tenure as the president of the Ghanian Association of the Greater Seattle (GHASEA) from 2012-2016.
I was privileged to have worked with him as his Vice President. What a great honor that was! He taught me the core values of what leadership is about and also provided me with in-depth knowledge as to how to be a good listener and an advocate to your community. I’ll forever be indebted to him for mentoring me.
Telling you everything about Mr. President will fill a book. He will be missed dearly. He was the kind of person you could always turn to when matters came up. He was very passionate and cared about everyone.
As we gather here to say goodbye to him, may his memories inspire all of us to love one another. Also, let us keep his family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you, Mr. Adjei for mentoring me, thank you all very much, and may God bless you and may God bless the United States of America.
